My entrepreneurial journey has been anything but straightforward, but every twist has shaped the person and founder I am today.
As a 2nd-time founder, I started my first venture, Freehunter, in 2017—a freelance job-matching platform that grew to become a leader in Asia. After five years in Hong Kong, I decided to leave in 2022 to see the world and meet other ambitious founders. I spent a year in Toronto before moving to London in 2024, where joining OPUS felt like the perfect step to connect with a dynamic, global network.
Jupitrr AI, my current venture, wasn’t an instant success. I launched it in 2020 as a founder-matching app inspired by dating platforms. But despite our enthusiasm, hypergrowth eluded us. Over the next three years, we pivoted four times, trying to crack the right product-market fit. It was tough, but giving up wasn’t an option.
Everything changed in 2023 when we doubled down on AI video editing—a space where small business owners could truly benefit. That was our fifth iteration of Jupitrr, and this time, we got it right. By 2024, we had scaled from 5,000 to 100,000 users and brought in 2,000+ active paying customers across the globe—all without spending a single penny on ads. Our platform empowers businesses to create professional talking-head videos 10x faster, with 50% of our customers in the US and 10% in the UK.
As we look to 2025, my goal is to accelerate growth and continue simplifying video creation for small business owners worldwide. Joining OPUS has been a game-changer, connecting me to a like-minded community of founders who understand the grit and resilience it takes to succeed.
